The Roughan, Williamson and Rumson families would like to express our appreciation for all the support we have received, and Julie received, from the Isabelle Hospice.
We would also like to say a huge thanks for the outstanding support and dedication of both the Renal team and the Macmillan ward at the Lister hospital who enabled Julie to extend her time with us.
Julie remained strong and fought hard during her four and a half year battle with cancer and kidney failure. Unfortunately, she passed away on the 29th March 2020. She will always be fondly remembered as an icon of inspiration who has deeply impacted the lives of everyone she came into contact with.
The messages of support we have received in the wake of her passing speak volumes of her resilience, humour, caring nature and selflessness, all of which Julie held at the core of all she was. She will be sorely missed.
Julie, throughout her battle with cancer and kidney failure, in her latter stages she was supported regularly by the outstanding work of the Isabelle Hospice nurses and staff. In loving memory of her, we would ask if you could donate to the hospice in her memory to help them support others, like mum, who are fighting against illness.
